Phocuus works with organisations looking to distribute and increase the findability of media assets utilising Web 2.0 and semantic web technology. We explore innovative ways to deliver media assets through the web, kiosks and projection environments.
Our tools and solutions provide the lifeline for media assets that have become hidden in legacy archives, lost their meaning through differing jargon used across departments, or exist in an unstructured state to allow the easy managing and cataloguing of the assets. We then provide platforms to enable these to be communicating in an engaging manner to your audience.
Phocuus is one of the founder members of JUMMP, a committee set up to promote interoperability for metadata and signalling information exchange. JUMMP provides value to end users and stakeholders in the content chain by enabling contextual navigation within live and recorded content for users of digital devices such as PVRs, games consoles, mobile phones and computers.
